English 2-Period 1

Coursework is designed to facilitate mastery of the Common Core State Standards and to help you become a better reader, writer, speaker, and thinker. Along the way, we’ll enjoy compelling modern works of nonfiction and classics from literature, including  Lord of the Flies,  The Great Gatsby, Night, and The Crucible. We’ll improve your grammar, advance your vocabulary, and increase your confidence about your ability to think, discuss, and write critically.
