About Mrs. Knight

Born and raised in Ventura, Mrs. Knight left the county to obtain her Bachelor’s in Mathematics at the University of California San Diego. Immediately following, she returned to Ventura County to attend California State University Channel Islands to get her teaching credential. Once she had that, she began working in schools all over the county, until she landed a position at Pacifica High School in Oxnard. After three years at Pacifica, she decided she wanted to explore the world and experience other cultures. She was able to get certified in the United Kingdom and moved to Cambridgeshire, England, where she worked at Ely College for another two years. In 2018 she returned home and started working at A.C.E. Charter High School.

Like most, Mrs. Knight enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and newly acquired husband. If given the opportunity to travel, she will always take it. She is also quite a fan of Disney and Harry Potter.

Mrs. Knight aims to inspire students to enjoy math and the puzzles within it, to find a love for logical and critical thought, and to promote an inclusive, international mindset here at A.C.E. Charter High.
